Semester Grades

Semester grades are figured by averaging quarter 1, quarter 2, and the semester final (all weighted differently depending on the teacher).  If you have any questions as to what your student, or you the student, needs this quarter and on the final to pass a class - feel free to email me and I will get that answer for you ASAP!!!

Next eligibility comes out Monday - are your grades where you want them?

Very close...

Hi all - we are past the first quarter and coming close to conferences.  Report cards went home in the last week with the students.  If you did not see it, check JMC, or contact your students MTV advisor.  Conferences are right around the corner.  Please make sure to come in and visit with teachers.  It will be Christmas and the end of the semester before we know it!!

Nearing the end...

As we come close to the end of the school year, I hope all students are where they would like to be.  We are offering summer school through the month of June, and if anyone is behind on credits this will be a great opportunity to get caught up.

To all of the seniors, you have 12 days left before you will all be high school graduates.  Time to get the last minute push to get all of your work done.  That senioritus has kicked in for many, but work hard and stay focused through these last days!!

Any parents wanting summer school information can contact the high school office.

Good afternoon,

I just got a phone call from Mr. Driskell, he called to let me know that he was able to sneak away from work to go visit some of our students who went to Creston to help clean up after the tornado.  He said when he walked up to one home, the homeowner came out and asked if they were his students, he of course said "they used to be".  To that the homeowner, with tears in his eyes, stated they were sent from Heaven.  The homeowner stated they were having problems finding volunteers when our Earlham students showed up to help.  Mr. Driskell shared with me that these kids were kicking butt and doing a great service today!!!

Way to go Earlham Senior Class!!!

It is getting close to the end of the school year, and I hope that everyone is doing what they need to in order to ensure they pass all of their classes for the semester.  There will be a summer school opportunity for some students that wish to attend and make up credits.

Parents please do not ever hesitate to email me regarding your students grades and homework.

New Semester

Hi all,

I cannot believe we are here in a new semester...where has the year gone already???  Well we have had a lot of changes with technology this year, and students have jumped right in there using the technology like pro's.  Towards the end of the semester grades appeared to tank slightly, if you are concerned in anyway about your students grades make sure you contact me and I will look into it, and see what kind of a plan can be put into place to help your child be successful!!
